Been thinking about this for a few days. It's nothing as profound as the title would suggest though.
Are the blind (born blind) able to dream during sleep in the same manner those with eyesight do? We seem to perceive and recall dreams in a visual manner, even though it has nothing to do with the eyes. So how about the blind?
Thoughts anyone?

i actually had to write a research paper once about this !
from what i remember, the blind "born blind" people don't see images in their dreams like we do, because experience of vision first is needed before it can be translated into a dream.
instead they experience other senses in their dreams.
"Dream images of the blind instead seem to be reconstructions of objects based on sensory input such as touch and sound"
