Rebel!

Been a while since I last posted and I don't feel like typing a lot. And while most people use lyrics to fill in the gaps, I feel photos are more my style.

Of course the fact that I just got the Canon Digital Rebel XT that I've always wanted comes to play very conveniently. I'm extremely happy with it even though I only have one low end lens for it thus far (50mm/f1.8, yes fixed focal length and no zoom)

Instead of boring you with a review which you can find better done somewhere else I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

Enjoy, but be forewarned, lots of sexy cars in the photos amongst other things. :)

Amazing pictures! You are really talented. and even though there's nothing better than taking photos of a beautiful car, I couldn't stop staring at the photo of the candles, it's just capturing.
The black and white ones of the lamp and laptop are very good, too, but what's the one with the rainbow colors? You used to explain these things before.

Thanks! I wouldn't call it real talent, I just exercise :)

Yeah the one with the rainbow colors is one of my favorites, if only because it makes you wonder what it is :)

I layed out a bunch of dvds on the floor under the floor lamp (same one in the b&w photo), I set the focus and aperture so that the reflection of the lamp on the dvds is in focus and everything else is blurred. I used the flash too to get those rainbo color reflections off the dvds. That's it :)

Very nice photos. You've done a lot more with your Digital Rebel than I have.
